Working within the family team at Leeds, your duties as a Family Solicitor include :<\/p>\n

\u2022 Undertaking compliance and fully aware of all aspects of requirements imposed on a
\nSolicitor by the Solicitors Act, Solicitors\u2019 Accounts Rules and Trustee Accounts Rules and all other
\nstatutory and Law Society rules and regulations from time to time enforced for the conduct of the
\nbusiness of a solicitor.
\n\u2022 Day to day handling of a wide variety of cases including divorce, private children, non-molestation
\norders and financial relief.
\n\u2022 Running own case load under supervision and being able to pick up cases part way through.
\n\u2022 Attending court on directions hearings, first appointments and financial dispute resolution
\nappointments.
\n\u2022 Taking instructions from clients, drafting documents and letters, conduct of matters on behalf of
\nclients and work as part of the team.
\n\u2022 Preparing Legal Aid applications and liaising with the Legal Aid Agency, as necessary.
\n\u2022 Achieving agreed personal targets in respect of fee income and recording of chargeable time and
\nassisting in developing new opportunities and the range of services offered by the firm.
\n\u2022 Day-to-day handling of a wide variety of cases.
\n\u2022 Experiencing of running own case load and being able to pick up cases partway through.
\n\u2022 Conducting of matters on behalf of clients
\n\u2022 Assisting where required in marketing the firm’s client services<\/p>\n

You will be newly qualified or have up to 4 years PQE and with experience in Family Law.<\/p>\n
