Working as part of the operations team, your duties as Production Planner will include:
- Coordinating and optimising production schedules
- Ensuring efficient and timely production of goods whilst minimizing production costs
- Managing stock levels
- Providing timely product delivery to clients and customers
- Meeting OTIF targets
- Managing the works order process by the timely release of works orders for sales order requirements
- Ensuring route cards are accurate and identifying any anomalies
- Preparing weekly reports in Excel using formulas and pivot tables
- Organising meetings with various stakeholders
- Collaborating with production teams, supply chain and sales to understand data from demand forecasting and planning production requirements
- Analysing and assessing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or excesses
- Coordinating with suppliers
- Monitoring production progress and adjusting schedules as needed
- General administration and progress chasing
You will have:
- Previous experience of production planning and scheduling
- Strong IT skills including Excel and the use of formulas
- First class communication skills
- Excellent organisation and prioritising skills
- High attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- A methodical approach
- The desire to develop and be part of a professional, forward-thinking company
