Field Service Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) – £35,000 – £40,000 pa

Ensuring efficient service and maintenance of existing, new and replacement equipment, your duties will include –

• Delivering on-site scheduled planned preventative maintenance and servicing of equipment
• Conducting routine service work on installed equipment and commissioning on repair on all types of IPS systems
• Performing diagnostic (intrusive) testing/fault diagnosis on all existing install base for device equipment, including IPS systems and carry out the necessary repairs/preventative maintenance, based on thorough assessment of existing install base equipment
• Carrying out any electrical wiring, testing and commissioning on company and 3^rd party products
• Setting up and configuring remote monitoring software where necessary
• Completing all necessary service documentation
• Participating in the “on-call” rota-system for emergency call-outs

You will be a skilled Mechanical and Electrical Engineer who is highly organised, efficient and able to meet deadlines, focused and observant with high attention to detail.  In addition, you will have a good understanding of power electronics and electrical installations.

You will need to be willing to travel, covering the Midlands area, on a regular basis.
